biography of Pascoe, Will

A writer and director born in Calgary, Alberta and based in Toronto, Will Pascoe has directed documentary films, documentary series, comedies and drama films, including the award-winning short film "Choices". His first documentary "Noam Chomsky: Rebel Without A Pause" premiered at IDFA and went on to play several international film festivals. A graduate of the National Screen Institute, his comedy feature film screenplay "Charming Grace" was recently nominated for the Writer's Guild of Canada prestigious "Jim Burt Screenwriting Prize".

-   Born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Montreal and Toronto.

-   Dropped out of teacher's college the day after seeing Quentin Tarantino's "Pulp Fiction", knowing that he wanted to write films for the rest of his life.

-   Graduate of the National Screen Institute.

-   Screenplay for "Charming Grace" was nominated for the Writer's Guild of Canada "Jim Burt Screenwriting Prize".

-   Dual citizen of Canada and the United States.


-   His master's thesis is in the library collection of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
