Michael Stevens was born in Toronto, Canada, attending Toronto's Forest Hill Collegiate and York University, with a major in Fine Arts Film. After writing/producing radio dramas for campus station CKRY, Michael was hired as National News Editor for RPM Magazine (creators of Canada's 'Juno' music awards). During the 1980s Michael was an assistant director, theme composer, SFX make-up designer and film producer, working various crew categories for Roger Corman-produced 'genre' features in Canada and California. To date Michael has appeared in over 500 productions as a film performer. He is a 30-year member of Canadian performers union 'ACTRA' and a 3-time member-elected Councillor 1998-2004. Since 1999, Michael has been an award-winning web designer/digital marketer, promoting major studio fare through 'Command Entertainment' websites, notably 'SneakPeek.ca' since 2001. Married at an early age, he is an actor/writer with 3 adult children and continues to live, work and play in Toronto and Vancouver Canada.

-   He wore his hair shoulder-length for various films including biblical "Gospel Of John", colonial drama "Pocahontas: The Legend", futuristic "Homeward Bound" and Woodstock-era "Hendrix". Then he received a close-cut 1930s hair trim to work on Russell Crowe's "Cinderella Man". Since then, instead of hippies and musicians, he currently plays detectives.

-   He designed and constructed alien masks for the intergalactic 'saloon' sequence in Roger Corman's "Space Raiders".

-   Member of ACTRA, Writers Guild of Canada (WGC) since 1978. Member of Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP) August 2006.

-   He voiced ACTRA Toronto Performers, film/TV production updates from 1996-2003, then moved to Vancouver, where he voiced the Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP) 'What's Shooting' film/TV production listings in 2008.
