Craft Director Tools are the result of several years of research into advanced neural networking, artificial intelligence and autonomous control techniques (cutting edge Swedish Research). Movements are controlled and recorded with our own inventions; the HYPHEN Engine™ (Hyper Physics Engine Engine™) and the Craft Razorback MoCap™ system. These inventions enable real-time based control and viewport motion capture of objects either actively controlled by a keyboard, joystick, 3D mouse (beta) and DirectX game controllers, or through fully automatic control (called Driven or Passive techniques). The Craft Adaptors are the first level of cooperation between Craft Director Tools and the modelling application being used. Craft Adaptors (for example Craft 3ds Max Adaptor) then enables the use of any Craft Director Tool within the modelling application. The Craft Adaptor becomes an extra feature of the modelling application itself. Currently Craft Adaptors are available for Maya, 3ds Max and VIZ. The amazing advantage of the Craft Adaptor is that if a user owns multiple Craft Director Tools licenses, and then changes modelling applications, the only new installation required is the Craft Adaptor compatible with the new modelling application.
